Jensen motors is a British auto mobile company that was started by two people in 1934. They were the manufacturers of both sports cars and commercial vehicles, in Lyng west Bromwich. The brothers were Alan and Richard Jensen gave the name Jensen. They started as specialised car body manufactures and were called Lyng commercial body and sports car body making business of WJ Smith & Sons Limited it which has ceased trading since 1976. The brothers renamed the company as Jensen Motors LTD. They specialised in manufacturing car bodies for major companies along with their own car. They used to source major parts from Ford, Austin.
